Parties, Festivals, Events…

Want to make your event the most fabulous ever? Do you need something to spice up and get your coworkers applauding at your corporate event? Have no fear, the Orlando Gay Chorus is here!

The Orlando Gay Chorus can be booked for events of all sizes and different types of music. Looking for something more intimate? Let’s get in touch and chat about how to bring music to your event. We also have 6 ensembles which may fit your needs (descriptions below).

In addition to the main chorus, the Orlando Gay Chorus has six small group ensembles:

OUTLOUD! is the longest running ensemble in GALA (Gay and Lesbian Association of Choruses). They are known for their campy songs, their choreography, and fun.  However, they really enjoy singing on the serious side from time to time.  OUTLOUD! is a TTBB (Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, Bass) ensemble.

Ménage is an all lower voice (TTBB - Tenor 1, Tenor 2, Baritone, Bass) jazz ensemble.  Known for their tight-knit harmonies and their intricate arrangements, this group always keeps it classy.  Even their outfits are always on point!

Nothin' But Treble makes use of the treble clef - and has only upper voices (SSAA - Soprano 1, Soprano 2, Alto 1, Alto 2)! Get it, nothin’ but treble?” They are known for their a cappella (no accompaniment) songs ranging from pop hits to pristine ballads.

Spectrum is known for its beautiful song arrangements from Broadway musicals, movie musicals, and musical television shows. They are a mixed voice (SATB - Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass) ensemble.  Sometimes breaking into 8 or more part harmonies, this ensemble loves to blow the roof off performance venues!

Sabor Orgulloso LATINX de OGC (SOLO)’s mission is to appreciate diverse backgrounds, to highlight the wonderful LATINX members within the chorus, and to help bring LATINX members back to their roots. They hope to enlighten others about magnificent cultures and the musical legacies that individuals carry, while connecting and engaging with the Central Florida LATINX community. Sabor Orgulloso Latinx de OGC translates to Proud LATINX Flavor of OGC. They perform songs in 100% LATINX languages (Spanish, Portuguese, Nahualt, etc).

Genderevolution’s purpose is to showcase the voices of our trans and non-binary singers. They sing songs on themes specific to the trans experience, songs that explore the concept of gender, and songs about finding community and chosen family as people who struggle to fit societal norms.  They perform songs written by musicians who fall under the trans umbrella and may explore writing original songs for this ensemble.  In addition to providing music for Trans Day of Remembrance, they bring visibility to the community and celebrate who they are throughout the year.
