The awards are an annual list that recognizes organizations and individuals in the areas of activism, service, entertainment and more is known as The Watermark Awards for Variety and Excellence, or simply the WAVEs.

After a year of virtual events due to the ongoing pandemic, the Orlando Gay Chorus returns with live, in-person concerts in the spring of 2021. The concerts will be socially distanced to ensure the health of the chorus and the audience members.
