Thank you to all our fans who came to see us perform We're Ready For Our Close-Up! We had so much fun putting together that show and we're glad to hear on our Facebook Fan page that you all enjoyed it as much as we did!

“We’re Ready For Our Close-Up:  A Tribute to the Music of the Movies.”

The Orlando Gay Chorus took our audience on a Hollywood musical journey. Under the direction of Artistic Director and Conductor Jim Brown, the chorus sang a variety of songs from the early days of the movies up to the present.

“The Movies. Hollywood. The mere mention of these words can conjure images of fame, glamour, and fortune,” said Brown. “Film offers immortality; not only to the individuals who make them, but to the times during which they were made. Movies also offer us a time capsule of our own lives; how old (or young) were we when that movie came out, where were we, who were we? The movies that we see during our lives become like little diaries of our lives, and they reflect the many facets of our human experience.”

A Lotta Night Music , where we showcase solo performances and feature some of our ensembles. The proceeds of this show will help send OGC to Denver in 2016 to attend the GALA Chorus festival and represent the Central Florida area.
